PVHS Winterguard Takes 3rd in First Show

The PVHS winterguard competed in their first competition on Saturday, February 4th. It was a beautiful day in Bakersfield as PVHS took the gymnasium. Though nerves were high, the guard had a good show and in the end they earned a 3rd place spot to begin their season. Check out the scores here

3rd Annual Panther Classic - March 17th

The 3rd Annual Panther Classic Color Guard and Percussion show is March 17th. Each year the show has grown in popularity and performing groups from all over the central coast participate. Below are the forms for any drumlines or color guards that are interested in attending.
There isn't an event like this for 200 miles!
This year's show will begin at 3pm and will be judged with a drumline clinic you don't want to miss!
This event is open to the public for a slight fee at the door, it is a fundraiser to support our program.

Welcome to the newest version of the PVHS Panther Band website! This new site will allow for more expansion and flexibility.
What to do first:
1. Register with the link at the top of the site. Registering will gain you access to member only contact, as it is added.
2. Subscribe to the newsletter. Subscribing to the newsletter will add your email to our new mailing list. This list will be used to send out periodic newsletters and announcements. You may subscribe to all categories you are a member of.
3. Add the Facebook Group. Simply click the "Find us on Facebook" link and add group.
4. Check the calendar. There are new areas such as upcoming events and current event. If you would like to limit what is shown on the calendar, for instance, if you are only in jazz, click the small blue triangle above the calendar and deselect color guard and marching/concert. This will remove those calendars form the main one.
5. Check back often for updates and new additions to the site!
Need to translate the site to another language? Make sure you are logged into Google first! Click the flag at the top for your language and all contact will be translated. (Small issue with the calendar not working in other languages but no other issues are known)
Please report any issues with the site. I will check often and work them out as quick as possible.
